Targeted Drug Delivery: Synthesis of Smart Nanocarriers for School Chemistry Education

This publication presents a series of experiments in the field nanomedicine for high school chemistry education and student laboratories, developed as collaborative project between didactics chemical research. In this context, polymeric nanocarriers represent promising approach drug delivery, acting “smart packaging material” to ensure transport desired location body targeted release. offers opportunity locally higher concentration while reducing overall dose administered minimizing side effects drugs. article, we illustrate how attractive research can be linked polymer classical topic through model transfer addition, present three where are (1) synthesized (2) loaded with fluorescent substance, which is (3) selectively released degradation polyester carrier via hydrolysis. All performed simple harmless chemicals within time frame two lessons.
